Raw Feeding Guidelines

How much to feed -
Normal active adult dog : You need to feed approx 2 to 2.5% of their full grown ideal adult body weight if your dog is the correct weight for his breed and normally active.

Puppies : see chart to the left.

Overweight dogs : For a dog with low exercise or that is overweight, then feeding around 2% or less of their body weight is appropriate.

Underweight dogs : For a dog that is underweight you should feed 3 to 3.5% of their ideal full grown adult weight until they reach their ideal weight then feed around 2.5%.

Larger breed dogs :  have slower metabolisms so they tend to need the lower % and small breeds have a high metabolism so often more than 3% .

Working dogs :
active working dogs will require more and somewhere around 3% to 3.5% depending on breed, age, and activity levels.

Somewhere around 2.5% suits most average adult dogs

*Please note these are approx guidelines only and every dog is different, you can add more or less food to your dogs raw meals and tailor it just right for them .
